Robert Douglas Ferris
Robert Douglas Ferris was born on March 10, 1917, in Rye, New York, to May Jones, age 27, and Robert Louis Ferris, age 23. He had two brothers
Theron
and Raymond and a sister Dorothy. In Rye his family lived at 20 Park Lane and were members of Christ's Church.
Robert enlisted in the Army on June 17, 1942, in New York City, New York, during World War II. He was 25 years old.
He married Rose A Holden and they had one son. Robert was the operator of Suzanne's Market Chester Heights in New Rochelle.
Robert Douglas Ferris died in February 1979 in New Rochelle, New York, when he was 61 years old. He had two sons with Rose A Holden.
At the time of his death he was survived by his son Robert, a sister Dorothy Corbo of FL, two brothers Theron Ferris of IL and Edgar Ferris of Rye NY and one grandson.
